Etraf ("Etraf", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you visit etrafperfume.com, make a purchase, or otherwise communicate with us. We process personal data in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Our store is powered by Shopify, which hosts the platform on which we provide our services.
By using our store, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details — name, billing and shipping address, phone number and email address.
- Payment information — payments are processed by our third-party payment gateway; we do not store your full card, UPI or bank details on our servers.
- Account information — username, password and your preferences and settings.
- Transaction information — items you view, add to cart or wishlist, and your orders, returns and exchanges.
- Communications — information you share when you contact us or leave a review.
- Device & usage information — IP address, device/browser type, and how you interact with the store, collected via cookies and similar technologies.

Directly from you (when you create an account, order, or contact us); automatically through the Services (via your device and cookies); and from our service providers and partners who help us operate the store.
3. How we use your information
- To process, fulfil and deliver your orders, manage your account and provide the Services.
- To provide customer support and communicate with you about your orders and enquiries.
- To send offers, new arrivals and marketing — only with your consent, and you may opt out anytime via the unsubscribe link.

We share it only as needed to run our business, including with: Shopify (which hosts and helps operate the store); payment gateways (to process payments); logistics and courier partners (to deliver orders); service providers (e.g. IT, analytics, email, cloud storage, customer support); and government or law-enforcement authorities where required by law or to protect our rights. In the event of a merger, acquisition or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that deal.
5. Our relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes information about your use of the store to provide and improve the platform. Information you submit may be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and its sub-processors, which may be located outside India. To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer below. We will verify your identity where required and respond within the timelines prescribed by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. International transfers
Your personal data may be stored or processed outside India (for example, by Shopify and other service providers). Where we do so, we take steps to ensure your data is treated in line with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

We aim to acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within the timelines prescribed by law. If you are not satisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
